And here are the photos of what the big summer storm did to the part of the shelter. One can only imagine how hard it must be for Danica to clean this flood, and keep the cats safe.

So, whoever can, should help. There are no times in the shelter when money is not scarce.
She also just paid for the pregnant cat's spaying.

Thank you all in advance.

New photos

The one in the cage is that female cat that was pregnant, and Danica got her spayed. She is now taking care of her and her wounds, until she gets better.

Then there is in the street (under a car), one of the new kittens that somebody just dropped in her yard, and the two tiny kittnes (inside the house) from before.

Also, Milance, just being lazy and cute.

I was away for several days, and did not post anything, and was not in contact with Danica. However, when I talked to her Tuesday, I got mostly bad news: somebody during one of these past nights unloaded a very pregnant cat, and also several kittens in her yard.

She immediately took the pregnant cat to the vet, and they managed to operate on her, and spay her - but , Danica thinks now that the cat is sick (bad case of mastitis). Danica is very scared that the cat might die or be in pain and suffer, and Danica does not know how to help her. She feels guilty for everything.

To counterbalance all the bad news, I am posting some recent cute pictures of the shelter tenants ( most of them you know)
