Iwouldso like to donate even from the little money I have... How can I be sure that the money I donate, goes to the helping of these cats and not to somebody's own pockets? Sorry, but on the internet we all need to be very careful.
Maamitti, How can you ever be sure where your donation is going? If you give to the Red Cross or Unicef, how do you know for sure your money is going to people in need and not Payroll? Sure, Dzeilana could be some scoundrel mastermind who created this whole thing out of thin air... So it comes down to faith. This organization is completely grass roots, they do not have a non-profit setup, it was simply a friend trying to help another friend thousands of miles away. If you follow all the blogs- Dzeilana had been sending her own money to Danica for a while, and decided to start a blog to see if she could raise additional funds. I write this as someone who has followed the blog since the beginning, who has donated a few times, and who has faith that these two women are giving a great portion of their hearts, finances, and time to some cats in need. I do not have much money, but that is all the assurance I need to feel good making a donation.
