Just curious, are the stumps causing the on-going problems? It appears that stumps are always red and open to me.
And could tell us in detail what will be the third operation? Is it to close the open stumps or is it for amputating?
I'm asking this because I read somewhere it's very common to amputate (in cases similar to Milance) near at hip joint rather than knee areas to prevent walking on newly operated sites.
